Mico is a table lamp diffused light. Metal structure painted blak, white opal methacrylate diffuser, with inferior diffuser in white colour sanded methacrylate.
Result of the collaboration of Marc Sadler and Elio Martinelli, the lamp, produced in 2003, reveals its secret color projecting it on the curvature of the base.
Mico, a project only apparently simple, co-signed with Elio Martinelli, with whom I have had the privilege of collaborating. The revisitation of a classic piece of the collection – the opal thermoplastic diffuser with the undercut side band, embellished by a transparent underlying disc that reflects in distorted fashion on the metal base in a sort of suggestive game of mirrors.
